Citizen Journalism

We are huge supporters of citizen journalism. Citizen journalism is disruptive technology that changes power dynamics and builds trust and accountability in communities. In 2005, we helped launch citizen journalism initiatives in Honolulu, Hawai`i, and Phoenix, Arizona.

We currently do not have active citizen journalism projects.

Meaningful change in immigrant and rural communities require broad coalitions. We build the capacity of community leaders to convene and lead cross-sector/cross-cultural collaborations.

Health Information Technology

Investments in Health Information Technology are improving health outcomes and reducing the cost of care. We work to ensure that immigrant and rural communities benefit from these investments.
